Who Am I?

Nancy Honeycutt, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Honeycutt is involved in research on temporal lobe abnormalities and associated cognitive deficits. She has developed extensive methodologies for measuring temporal lobe structures, e.g. hippocampus, amygdala, entorhinal cortex and superior temporal gyrus. She collaborates with researchers at the Center for Imaging Science to develop new methods for cortical surface mapping and to study implications for neuropsychiatric disorders. She is also interested in examining the cognitive and neurological deficits associated with substance abuse.

Active Projects

  • Structural Brain Correlates of MDMA Use.
  • Structural Imaging Laboratory.
  • Morphometric Analysis of the Superior Active Gyrus.
