Internships and volunteer positions are usually available at PNI. Students and interns have a rare opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience with patients with a variety of psychiatric and neurologic disorders. They also learn the basics of conducting clinical research, as well as gain valuable training in neuroscience and its related disciplines.

PNI especially caters to students who are taking research credits, as there is a tremendous opportunity to learn about specific research projects, help out with various aspects of these projects, and learn how to report and critique research in the field.

A background in neuroscience, psychology, public health or a related discipline is helpful, but is not required. All training is provided at PNI, but students and interns are expected to spend time outside of the lab learning and reading background materials.

If you are an undergraduate student at the Homewood campus, and looking for a research for credit or volunteer position at PNI, please contact Liz Beaeuregard for more information.

If you are not a Homewood student and would like to intern or volunteer at PNI, please contact Catherine Cristinzio for more information.
